ABOUT US

Dance Republic Scotland was founded in 1993 by Miss Zoe Bell. The School has grown and grown and flourished into the family feel double site dance school that it is today.

Dance Republic was taken over by Miss Jenna Hunter in 2020. Miss Jenna’s industry experience and highly trained dance background has kept the school at the high standard our DR family is known for.

We are based in Milnagvie and Lenzie and are proud to host a large variety of dance styles within our jam packed timetable. We pride ourselves in the high standard of dance training we provide but more so we are proud of the family and community we have created with our students. This is our dance home.

The seniors have performed in The River Festival, events at The Science Centre (workshops,etc), lectures with the BATD, events at Mar Hall and were invited to perform in the first ever dance festival at The Theatre Royal.

The Team of DR Scotland, 27 students to participate in the European Championships which were held in Paris. The teams came an outstanding 2nd in Lyrical and 1st in Street which was a huge achievement for their first ever competition abroad! Our Competition team continues to place highly in every competition we attend.

DR Scotland are currently liaising with a couple of charities, providing dancing entertainment at large events which we are very proud to be a part of.
